Okay kids, here's the deal. The band bought a van. A cool van. An old van. A cheap van. And that van is now broken. We had about $500 worth of repairs done on it, but can't afford to bail it out of van-jail (i.e. the shop). So we are considering a few things. First we thought about delaying our return to Blinded Black Studio to continue recording the album. But we quickly all vetoed that idea. Soon we will be implementing a few fundraising ideas. Here's a short list:
1) YARD SALE: We all have too much junk in our houses. Things we're not using and may not ever use. That junk is just taking up space, and possibly worth some money to someone. One man's junk is another man's treasure, or something like that. We'll clean out and gather all our junk and donate it to the yard sale, with all the profits going to the "fix our van" fund.
2) TIP JAR: We will have a jar on our merch table at shows taking donations to bust our van out of the slammer. Anything will work really. So pretty much start bringing handfuls of change to shows. I suggest using all that change in your car's cup holder as a starter.
