By the time I got to the studio, our drummer Justin had finished all but one last song. We got to watch the magic happen as he finished up. He did the whole thing in only five hours. Then we had some quick dinner/snack from the local QT, and proceeded to record the bass tracks. I played guitar along as a scratch track so our bassist Kelsey could navigate his way through the odd time changes and key signatures. We finished all the bass lines around 11pm, so we called it a night. Tomorrow, I am doing all my guitar tracks. I have a lot of overdubs and harmonies, so it will take our entire time tomorrow.
